BHA Properties

BHA owns/operates 32 properties containing approximately 680 units. Unique to BHA is that fact that many of our properties are rehabs of existing apartment buildings rather than merely new construction. This is in part due to BHA's commitment to preserving affordable housing in the city beyond just increasing housing stock. 

Most of BHA's properties are located near downtown Burlington, close to transportation, city amenities, healthcare, and services. A few of BHA's properties are located in Winooski and in the New North End of Burlington.

All of BHA-owned or -managed properties are available only to low-income or extremely low-income residents. Almost all tenants of these properties receive rental subsidies which limit their portion of rent and utilities to 30% of their household income.
