Burlington Housing Authority (BHA) in Burlington, VT is seeking a full time Property Management Administrative Assistant to serve as first point of contact for our customers in the Property Management office. This role greets applicants and the general public at the main office, collects rent payments, provides administrative support to the Leasing and Eligibility Specialist, the Property Managers, and the Director of Property Management.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or an equivalent
- Three years previous office experience
- Proficient computer skills, including windows-based word processing, spreadsheet and database use
- Experience in federally assisted housing programs or property management preferred
- Adept at fostering positive and collaborative relationships with staff, residents, vendors and community agencies alike
- Outstanding organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Sensitive to the needs of low-income households, elderly and disabled individuals

Pay range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
